SPACE-AGE "GREEN" TECHNOLOGY: THE ANSWER FOR WHAT AILS INDOOR AIRWith over 5 million Ecoquest RCI ActivePure air purification units already sold, Ecoquest is becoming a world leader in applying Green Air Purification Technology to combat INDOOR AIR POLLUTION, a silent enemy that according to the CDC causes fully 50% of all illnesses. What is Ecoquest's advantage? Its exclusive Radiant Catalytic Ionization (RCI) ActivePure technology is unlike anything else available. Here is what sets RCI technology apart from the rest: - It is based on-- and improves upon-- the same technology NASA uses to scrub the air inside the International Space Station. It is the only clean-air technology designated as Certified Space Technology by the NASA-affiliated Space Foundation.
- Besides cleaning indoor air, RCI ActivePure echnology has been proven in University studies to kill 99.99% of bacteria, mold and viruses (like the flu, MRSA and SARS) on indoor surfaces (such as countertops, doorknobs, etc.) within 24 hours.
- As its name implies, it is an "active" technology that takes its solution to the pollution, unlike passive filter-based technologies that require air to come to a filter to be cleaned.
- It comes either in stand-alone units or in "in-duct" units installed directly into your HVAC system.
RCI ActivePure technology is already in use in such places as: - Homes and offices (kills viruses on doorknobs, toilet seats, etc., and eliminates pet odors);
- Schools and day care centers (shown to reduce illness-related absences of both children and staff);
- Aboard cruise ships (destroys microbials and other pollutants that passengers and crew members touch); and
- Grocery stores and other food marketing sites (increases shelf life of produce, meats and deli and dairy items by 40%).
Bring RCI ActivePure into your indoor environment! Visit your Ecoquest dealer (for residential applications) or your ActivTek Environmental dealer (for commercial applications). 1. PowerWoRx e3: The Environmental "Domino Effect"
PowerwoRx e3: Start your own environmental "domino effect"
Tired of seeing your electric bill going up and up?
PowerwoRx e3 (patent applied for) provides a Whole House Energy Management System for the best possible energy savings and Total Home Protection. It is based upon a unique technology that provides three key benefits:
Energy Savings
Equipment Protection
Electrical Noise Filtration
Energy Savings
Here is how PowerwoRx E3 provides energy savings: PowerWoRx e3 uses specially designed harmonic resistant capacitors to optimize your home's "power factor", which in turn reduces the amount of power you need to draw from your utility.
Power factor is the measurement of how efficiently your electrical system uses the energy delivered to your home from your utility company. The higher the power factor, the more efficient your power usage, and the lesser your "waste" energy. At the high end, for example, your stove and dryer heating coils and incandescent light bulbs, which convert electrical energy to heat and light, have a “power factor rating” of unity, or 1. At the lower end, your home's "motor loads" (such as air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, pool pumps, vacuum cleaners, furnace blower motors, fans etc.), which inherently require comparatively more energy, can have a "power factor rating" as low as 0.2.
The combined electric loads in the typical American home-- motor and non-motor-- produce an average overall power factor rating of 0.77 or less-- indicating that the average home uses more electrical energy to run your electrical equipment than it should.
The PowerwoRx E3’s “power factor optimization” significantly increases the
efficiency of your motor loads and stores waste energy, resulting in decreased demand and usage of electricity from your utility company. This means significant cost savings for you, the homeowner. The PowerwoRx E3 technology has a proven track record of increasing a home’s “power factor rating” to .95 or better.
Equipment Protection
PowerwoRx E3 is like having an ELECTRONIC BODYGUARD for your home or business! PowerwoRx technology provides Surge and Spike Suppression, a feature that will help protect and extend the useful life of your electrical equipment. Voltage surges and spikes can come from many different internal and external sources, such as utility grid changes, damage to transformers or electrical lines from accidents or acts of God, old or outdated utility transformers that supply electrical power to your home, lightning and turning on and off major motor loads in your home. Typical homes in the United States are bombarded with literally hundreds of surges and spikes a day that can, over time, damage sensitive electrical equipment. A combination of the PowerwoRx E3 harmonic resistant capacitors and metal oxide varistors (MOV’s) gives the homeowner the maximum protection available on the market today. The external lights on the PowerwoRx E3 system provide an easy visual indicator that the system is protecting your home.
Electrical Noise Filtration
PowerwoRx E3 technology provides Harmonic Filtration of electrical "noise", interference and heat in today's electrical systems. This level of protection, increasingly important since the 1980’s, is almost mandatory now, due to the proliferation of computers, fax and copy machines and variable-frequency drives, which are known as “nonlinear loads”. Unlike traditional electrical equipment, nonlinear loads draw electric current in “pulses”. This creates damaging noise, interference and heat, causing interference within sensitive electrical equipment-- or worse, causing it to overheat and fail. The use of computerized electronics in the American home has grown exponentially over the years, and the need for filtering out interference, noise and heat created by nonlinear loads has never been greater.
Environmental "Domino Effect"
By installing the PowerWoRx e3 system in your home you can start your own environmental "domino effect". Here is how they fall: Your home's need for electrical energy is lessened, and in turn so is the need for your electric company to produce it. In turn the amount of coal and oil being burned to generate electrical energy is reduced, resulting in the reduction of environmentally harmful emissions of carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and sulfur dioxide.
That is for one home-- yours. It is EcoQuest’s mission to install PowerwoRx E3 systems in 500,000 homes across this county. The results? Savings of 17 megawatts of electricity annually-- saving 42,250 tons of coal or 231,500 barrels of oil and reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 98,250 tons of carbon dioxide, 42,000 pounds of nitrous oxide and 221,500 pounds of sulfur dioxide annually. How's that for an environmental domino effect?
Do your part by installing a PowerwoRx E3 today!

2. FUN-RAISING MADE EASY: PLAY GOLF ONLINE FOR CHARITY
Fundraise on Your Golf Virtual Game Online
VIRTUAL
FUN-RAISING MADE EASY: PLAY GOLF ONLINE FOR CHARITY
Think
of how much fun you have playing the FREE
GOLF VIRTUAL GAME ONLINE.
Wouldn’t
it be great if you and your friends could
have this
much fun, and at the
same time help raise funds for a worthwhile
organization or cause?
If you
are like
most of us, you belong to a church, social
club, school
Parent-Teacher Organization, or
neighborhood civic or athletic association, or a school
or college alumni association -- or maybe all of the above.
You
also may have one or more favorite charities that you work with, donate
to or simply wish to help.
All of
these groups
have one thing in common-- they need money continuously, and they are
constantly seeking creative ways to raise it-- ways that go
beyond the traditional array of bake sales, other kinds of sales,
raffles, auctions, walk-a-thons, dinners, special events, and even golf
tournaments.
Why not hold a
VIRTUAL ONLINE GOLF TOURNAMENT?
It's a great way for an
organization
to bring the fun and competitive spirit of a real golf tournament to
those of its donors, supporters and friends that don't play golf or
can't do golf tournaments of the outdoor variety. In fact,
MVP
Network, the developer of the Golden Fairway Online Golf Game,
estimates that 99% of the people who play golf online have never picked
up a golf club. Players
don't need golf
skills, golf clubs, or access to a golf course. All that's
needed is a PC and an internet connection.
Such an event already comes with a wide built-in
appeal--
after all, more
than one out of every three adult internet visitors already
plays online games.
By
holding a Virtual online fundraising Golf Tournament you can do a great
service to any
organization,
whether you belong to it or you just want to help. You can
hold a fundraising tournament on
your (or our) GOLF
VIRTUAL GAME ONLINE any time-- Winter, Spring,
Summer or Fall, any time of the
day, 24-7, rain or shine. How else, for instance, could you
hold a Christmas Holidays golf fundraiser in Boston?
A few
other things to consider:
An Online Virtual Golf Fundraising tournament is easy to set
up
and run, taking only a small fraction of the time and effort
needed
to run your regular golf tournament. No need to book a golf
course. And there's no
limit to
the number of players that can participate-- or to the
number of rounds
they can play in your tournament. You just 1) decide how much
money you want to charge for tickets (Most online tournaments are run
for $5 to $10 per ticket, but you can charge more, depending on your
circumstances), and 2) sell,
sell, sell. You can print paper tickets,
sell tickets
online, or do both. And because Online Virtual Golf
Tournaments are so easy to run, you can run
them as often as you like-- even weekly or monthly.
This
is one
instance, at least, where size does not matter. An Online
Virtual Golf Tournament can benefit any group needing to raise funds--
from the smallest local groups to large national organizations.
Am I
suggesting
that you replace your outdoor-variety golf fundraiser with the online
virtual golf tournament? Certainly not-- but the
Online
Virtual Golf Tournament is certainly a great, valuable and
cost-effective all-season, all-weather addition to the fundraising
efforts of any group or
organization, large or small, national or local.
A
final word of wisdom: As with any fundraiser, the success of
your Online Virtual Golf Fundraising Tournaments depends on your
ability and willingness to GET THE WORD OUT as widely as possible.
Talk about it (word-of-mouth is the best advertisement),
advertise it in print, in storefronts, or wherever you feel led to.
Use the means that work best for you-- you know what they
are. This is where you will spend most of your energy on your
Online Golf Tournament (actually setting it up online is a breeze!).
The more you publicize, publicize, publicize, the more
successful your Online Golf Fundraising Tournament will be.

3. The Ads You See On The Golf Course
Advertise On Your Golf Virtual Game
The
Ads You See on The Golf Course
If you've ever been to a golf tournament (I haven't yet), or watched
one on TV (I
do on occasion, although my
older son can't understand why anyone would intentionally sit
and
watch golf on TV), you have no doubt noticed the countless ad banners
and images that dot the course, as well as the TV screen. At least
big-time advertisers bet big-time dollars that you do.
Similarly, by now you have played our GOLF
VIRTUAL GAME a few times and,
I trust, improved your score each time (I sorely need to
improve
my putting, but that's another story entirely).
In the process you no doubt have noticed, just as on a real,
outdoor-type golf course, the number of ad and brand images that come
before your eyes.as you play.
Would you like these ads to be yours?
If you make anything, sell anything, own any kind of business, provide
any kind of service-- or know or work for someone who does-- this
message is for you: These ads can be yours, working for you,
promoting your business,
your products, and your services. You
can easily place, replace and rotate your own ad
images in up to 43 separate places throughout
the
free GOLF
VIRTUAL GAME. Your players’ eyes will
be on
these ads for up to 30 to 40 minutes at a time as they play your GOLF
VIRTUAL GAME.
What makes this
advertising so valuable?
First: Internet visitors are looking for you.
Online gaming is fast becoming a bigger part of what people
do on
the internet. A recent report by the market-research firm
Parks
Associates (reported in Online Media Daily 8/17/2007) indicated that more than one-third of all
adult internet users (34%) play online games weekly.
Not only are online games the most popular entertainment activity
of adults
(more so than even social networking sites as YouTube, MySpace
and
Facebook), they are the king of all online activity. This
trend
has not gone unnoticed by advertisers. The advantages of
in-game
advertising (advergaming), in time-on-screen and quality of
viewers’ attention, make
it one of the hottest forms of advertising around today.
Second:
It is no secret that the best
advertising entertains as
well as
advertises. To engage your customers—to keep them involved---
it pays to entertain. Advertising within ONLINE VIRTUAL GAMES--
Advergaming-- is a great way to bring the power of entertainment to
your advertising. More and more advertisers are creating their
own advergames as a part of their overall marketing efforts, often at
great cost in time and money. As a GOLF
VIRTUAL GAME owner, you already have your
advergame —a GOLF VIRTUAL GAME that is
fun and easy to play.
You are advertising to an audience that is already having fun.
So-- you can accommodate the one
out of every
three adult internet visitors that are looking to play ONLINE
VIRTUAL GAMEs by
offering them an online
game that
combines entertainment and advertising 24/7 rain or
shine.
But you don't have to limit yourself to simply plunking ad images in
your online game. For instance:
Hold an online golf tournament. You can name it after your
business-- without having to pay millions of dollars (or thousands of
euros) for the naming rights-- and use your own stock in trade as
prizes. Better yet, hold more than one. Make it a
weekly,
monthly or annual event. More on this subject in a later post.
In
short, this is a great way to get your message out and make a
name for your business while your prospects/customers are having fun.
The
cost? It's not free, like playing the online virtual golf
game
is, but it is surprisingly affordable, considering the benefits.
It's certainly not the big-time dollars referred to above.

4. Online Golf Tournaments-- Competition for the Virtual World
Online Golf Tournaments
Online
Golf Tournaments-- Competition for the Virtual World
In my last post
I touched on the fun of playing golf solo online.
That's
all well and good-- keep on doing it, please (after all, it's FREE).
But there's something missing
if we don't share the fun. Borrowing from the old
"tree-falls-in-the-forest" theme-- if a golf ball rattles
along into the cup and no one else is around to hear it, does it make a
sound?
And
even if it does make a sound, what's the point??
Let's
face it--
we humans are a social and competitive lot. Whatever
we do,
we don't strive simply to be good-- we strive to be better than anyone
else-- bigger, stronger, faster, the list goes on. Our golf games, real
or virtual, are no exception: If golf tournaments
did not
exist, we would have had to create them!
And
we have. Our Golf Virtual Game,
unlike many other golf games you can play online, is uniquely
suited to multiplayer play, and to tournament play as well. Even
though it may not be free (a ticket or "greens fee" is
required to enter most tournaments), in tournament play the fun is
shared and spread around.
Truth is, no matter how much fun you have playing
your Online Golf Game by yourself and getting lower and even lower
scores-- there's nothing quite like getting a score that's better than someone
else's-- or even (dare to dream), than everyone
else's.
And if in the process you can win cash and prizes, it's all
good!
When you join a Golf Virtual Game tournament you have a constant view
of the Tournament Leaderboard-- so you can always see where you stand.
Other
good things: in our golf virtual game tournaments you can
play
when you want-- no wait for tee times. You can play as many
rounds as you want. And in most tournaments, because your
best
score (not your average score) determines your Leaderboard position, a
bad round won't hurt you.
So keep on playing.
Any time you go online and start to play, you can see a list
of
tournaments you can enter-- promotional tournaments (businesses can use
their own products as prizes), fundraising tournaments for charity--
any excuse at all for having an online virtual golf tournament.
And if you can't find a good tournament, or if you want to run one for
your own business or favorite charity, talk to us. We can show you how.
Thanks for reading. Tell me what you
think.

About the Golf
Shot Around the World Mission
The Golf Shot
Around the World, the longest drive in history, commemorated the 35th
anniversary of the first golf short in space, by Astronaut Alan J.
Shepard. On
the eve of Thanksgiving just over one year ago, November
22,2006,
Russian Cosmonaut Mikhail Tyurin, using a specially designed
gold-plated Element 21 Scandium Eagle One golf club, successfully hit a
gold-plated golf ball into earth orbit from the International Space
Station
(ISS), 220 miles above the earth as an estimated 300 million plus
people
watched. Still in orbit and travelling at 6 miles per second, the ball
has
logged over 195 million miles and is expected to travel over a billion
miles.
The flight of the ball can be tracked at www.issgolf.com
. The Element 21 website is www.e21golf.com
. The Shot also served to highlight the many benefits of using Scandium
Alloys
in golf clubs to achieve greater distance, accuracy and consistency
than
offered by any other materials currently in use. The Scandium Alloy was
originally developed by scientists for advanced aeronautics and space
applications
which includes the International Space Station.
About The Element
